Jihan Sadat inaugurated Sunday the new telephone system at the Hadassah Hebrew University Medical Center in Jerusalem. She did so via phone, of course. Bernice Tannenbaum, Hadassah President, placed the call to Egypt’s First Lady. A hospital spokesman said Mrs. Sadat responded favorably to an invitation to visit Hadassah. Mrs. Tannenbaum mentioned the rehabilitation center for soldiers in Cairo, and Mrs. Sadat expressed hope that such institutions will no longer be necessary.
