More than 650 delegates of Jewish communities in 1,000 cities across the country gathered here today to participate in the Leaders Conference of the Jewish National Fund, which opens tomorrow at the Hotel Pennsylvania.
Scheduled to address a public session on Sunday–during which the new Jewish National Fund land program for Palestine will be announced–are Mayor Israel Rokach of Tel Aviv; Abraham Herzfeld, labor leader and colonization expert; Ambassador Jorge Garcia Granados, head of Guatemala’s delegation to the United Nations General Assembly; Rabbi Meyer Berlin, president of the World Morris Organization; Judge Morris Rothenberg, JNF president and other leaders.
