A gain of $324,925 in receipts of the Jewish Fund throughout the world in 1935 over the 1934 figure was reported today by Dr. Israel Goldstein, president of the American J.N.F.
He said that for the fiscal year ending Sept. l, 1935, total contributions of $1,742,070 were received. The previous year contributions totalled $1,417,145.
At the same time it was reported donations of $65,000 were made in December to the American J.N.F., the largest sum ever contributed to the cause in a single month.
