John Furman, president of PEC Israel Economic Corp., of New York, resigned today, effective March 31, 1968, it was announced by Joseph Meyerhoff, PEC’s chairman. Mr. Furman will take up permanent residence in Israel. Prior to joining PEC, he was comptroller-general and secretary of the Zim Israel Navigation Co., Ltd., and later chief executive of the Israel-American Industrial Development Bank.
