Jonas Gruenbaum. 16, the youngest son of Deputy Isaac Gruenbaum, was arrested by the police on the charge of Communist activity.
Young Jonas’ arrest followed the arrest of his older brother, Eliezer, who was similarly charged. In his diary, which was confiscated, there was an entry that Jonas was dismissed from school for Communist agitation.
