Kurt Jooss and his group, ballet company that was awarded first prize of 25,000 francs last summer in a competition for original choreography, will make their debut in this country at the Forrest Theatre Tuesday evening, October 31. The performance is entitled “The Green Table” and will have a cast of twenty-four persons. It is a satire on pacifism.
Other ballets to be presented on subsequent evenings are “Impressions of the Big City”, “A Ball in Old Vienna” and Ravel’s “Pavane Pour un Infante Defunte.”
