Jordan appealed to the United States to help resolve a dispute with Israel after Israeli officials said last week they are planning to reduce the amount of water they deliver to Jordan because of a regional drought. An expert on water issues from the U.S. State Department arrived in Israel on Monday and is expected to participate in talks between the two sides.
