King Hussein of Jordan has protested to the British Ambassador at Amman over the fact that the “Church of England Newspaper” has published an editorial supporting Israel’s position on the Arab refugees and has castigated the Arab states for refusing to make peace and for failing to take constructive action to help the refugees, it was reported today from the Jordan capital.
The new King of Saudi Arabia, in a statement issued through the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Cairo, has declared that in his view “Israel has committed flagrant aggression” in the current dispute with Jordan. The report from Cairo added that the King stated that he would “support what is right against what is wrong.”
