The Jordanian Government has ordered military recruiting and training of residents in every village and settlement on the Israel border, starting immediately, it was reported here today over the Jordan radio.
Meanwhile, the Israel-Jordan Mixed Armistice Commission condemned Israel’s retaliatory raids last month on three Jordan towns as a violation of the armistice agreements. The MAC resolution noted that in one of the raids Israeli troops took special measures to avoid casualties to civilians.
