The Government of Jordan was reported today to be ready to grant citizenship to all former Palestine Arabs, Jordan newspapers arriving here reported that a decision to that effect was taken yesterday by the Jordanian Cabinet.
The grant of citizenship would be automatic, regardless of present residence of the Arabs. The projected citizenship granted was viewed here as a bid to the Arabs residing in the Gaza Strip.
