Jordan Threatens to Leave Arab League if Mufti’s “gaza Government” is Recognized

Jordan has notified the Arab League that it will withdraw from the League and will sign a separte peace treaty with Israel if representatives of the so-called Arab Government in Gaza–which was formed by the ex-Mufti of Jerusalem–are invited to the forthcoming meeting of the League’s Political Committee, it was reported this week-end in a broadcast by the Bagdad Radio.
