Jordan’s Defense Minister, Fawzi el Molky Pasha, said today in Alexandria that his country stood by her promise to the Arab League not to sign a separate peace treaty with Israel, Reuters reported. He is in Egypt attending a meeting of the Arab League’s political committee, which opened today.
The Arab Minister denied reports that Jordan was conducting separate peace talks with Israel. “We shall only sign peace with Israel when all the Arab states do so,” he declared.
