Jordan’s foreign minister denied reports Wednesday of contacts with Israel over reopening an oil pipeline to Iraq. Reuters quoted an Israeli official as saying that at Amman’s initiative, the Israeli infrastructure minister was to hold meetings with Jordanian officials on restarting the Mosul pipeline, which runs between Haifa and northern Iraq via Jordan.
