Jordan’s King Abdullah is expected to ask during his scheduled meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Barak that he be part of “the picture” of final- status negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians, the Israeli daily Ha’aretz reported. The paper said that in messages conveyed to Jerusalem prior to Tuesday’s meeting, Abdullah said Jordan is linked to some of the final- status issues, including Jerusalem, refugees, border demarcations and the status of the Palestinian entity.
