Joseph B. Keenan, noted lawyer, has been named American member of the U.N. Palestine Conciliation Commission, it was learned hare today. France and Turkey still have to appoint their representatives.
Keenan, an Assistant U.S. Attorney General from 1936 to 1939, served as chief United States prosecutor in the trial of Japanese war criminals. Beside practicing law in Ohio and Washington, he also served as a special assistant to the Attorney General of Ohio.
