Funeral services were held here this afternoon for Joseph Dinitz, father of Israel’s Ambassador to the U.S. Simcha Dinitz, who died yesterday at the age of 83. Mr. Dinitz was a prominent merchant in Tel Aviv and leader of its Merchants Association. The Ambassador arrived here earlier today to attend the funeral services, and recite kadish. Joseph Dinitz was born in Russia and came to Palestine in 1925. He served as an advisor to the Minister of Trade and Industry. Dr. Dov Joseph, in the early fifties on matters involving merchants.
