Announcement was made here today of the death on Sunday of Joseph Horowitz, a prominent figure in Anglo-Jewish communal, philanthropic and cultural life. He was 63. A gifted pianist, Mr. Horowitz aided many young musicians of promise over the years. He was a director of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency.
