Joseph E. Eron, educator and lecturer whose Eron Preparatory School has trained more than 25,000 students for admission to college, died this morning in his home at the hotel Brittany at the age of 69. Mr. Eron, who came to this country from Poland at the age of 13, was educated at Columbia and began his career as a teacher in an evening school for immigrants. In 1900 he organized the Eron School. He was one of the founders of the Educational League, and was also associated with the Educational Alliance and HIAS.
