Joshua Gordon, head of the Security Department of the Jewish Agency, died here yesterday of a heart attack at the age of 54. He was a graduate of Columbia University, New York, and was one of the founders of the American section of the Jewish Legion. He also studied in the universities of Munich and Heidelberg in Germany prior to his coming to America in 1914. Gordon, who was active in the Zionist Laborite movement in New York, left the United States in 1918 to join the Jewish Legion.
