A group of Cypriote journalists today issued a protest against reported plans by the Government here to ban the showing of the film “Exodus, ” which depicts Israel’s struggle for freedom.
The protest was issued following a report that the Cypriote Government would accede to pressure by the United Arab Republic to prevent the showing of the film. Opposition by the UAR to the showing of the film was believed to have been conveyed to the Cypriote delegate to the recent Belgrade conference of non-aligned nations.
