One of the facts not publicized about this year’s Nobel Peace Prize winner, West German Chancellor Willy Brandt, was that he is alumnus of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency. During 1941 he was a correspondent in Sweden for the Overseas News Agency, an affiliate of the JTA. His dispatches, written under his real name, Herbert Ernst Karl Frahm, appeared in the American daily press and in the JTA News Service and JTA Daily News Bulletin.
