Mrs. Trudi Schydlowsky, editor of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s Daily News Bulletin in Lima for the past 14 years, was honored by Hebraica, the local Jewish Country Club, for her 40 years of work for Jewish and Zionist causes. The Jewish Peruvian Library was filled to overflowing for the award ceremony which was chaired by Moshe Avidan, Israel’s Ambassador to Peru, Israel’s honorary consul, Dr. Marcos Roitman, noted Mrs. Schydlowsky’s efforts in helping found the local branch of Wizo; her help in establishing the local Jewish school, and her work for the JTA.
