The Jewish Telegraphic Agency has concluded an agreement with the Jewish Student Press Service to provide the 40 student publications affiliated with the JSPS with news about the Jewish community, it was announced today by JTA president Robert H. Arnow. David Kaufman, co-editor of the press service, said the member publications have a combined monthly circulation of some 350,000 on and off campus in every major city in the United States and Canada. Kaufman noted that the ideological orientation of the publications covers the entire spectrum of political thinking within the Jewish community from Left to Right and from Socialist-Zionist to religious Zionist. Commenting on the arrangement between JTA and the Student Press Service, Arnow said that this was a vital step in reaching Jewish youths with factual objective news and developments within the worldwide Jewish community.
