Judah L. Pilch, president of the National Council for Jewish Education and a professional educator for the past 19 years, has been named executive director of the American Association for Jewish Education, succeeding Dr. Israel S. Chipkin who resigned this summer, Michael A. Stavitsky, president of the organization, announced today. Until his recent appointment, Mr. Pilch was executive director of the Jewish Education Committee of Essex County. N.Y.
