Leaders of all walks of Jewish life last night honored Judge Maximilian Friede, former Jewish leader in Poland now active in the United States on behalf of Jews who left Poland since the war.
The dinner, tendered in recognition of his 50 years of service to Polish Jewry was addressed by Dr. I. Schwarzbart, former member to the Polish Parliament, and other prominent personalities. Messages of greetings were received by Judge Friede from many Jewish organizations.
