Judge Harry A. Hollzer, of the Superior Court, and prominent in Southern California Jewish communal work, was yesterday advised of his appointment as life member of the American Law Institute, of which George Wickersham is president and Elihu Root honorary president.
Judge Hollzer’s election to this body is considered to be an eminent award, as its membership consists of the most prominent legal minds of the country. Judge Hollzer is also secretary of the Judicial Council of California, and is the president of the Men’s Club of Temple B’nai B’rith, the largest congregation in Southern California.
