Judge Harry B.Keidan was elected to the Wayne County Circuit Bench. He received a record vote, leading the ticket with 273,958 votes.

For the first time in the history of the state a Jew was elected sheriff Henry Wagner received 268,559 votes for the office of sheriff of Wayne County, to fill the short term vacancy caused by the death of the late Sheriff Stein.
