Judge M. C. Sloss has been named chairman of the proposed mass meeting of Northern California Jewish leaders called for next month to devise ways and means of “revitalizing” Judaism in the west.
The meeting will be held in Sun Francisco and will be made up of rabbis and lay leaders. Invitations were sent out this week under the direction of the Board of Jewish Ministers of Northern California which proposed and sponsored the movement for such a mass meeting.
