A conference of Jewish colonists throughout Palestine was held at Petach Tikvah on July 17th and 18th, eighty delegates being in attendance. Mrs. Fels and Judge Mack, of the Palestine Development Company, welcomed the delegates. Judge and Mrs. Mack had arrived in Palestine on the day the conference was opened.
Following detailed reports on the present situation, it was decided to establish a united organization representing all the Jewish colonies in Palestine. An Executive of thirteen members was elected. The conference sent a telgram of greeting to Baron Edmond de Rothschild.
