Judge William M. Lewis, one of the national chairmen of the American Palestine campaign and a leader in Zionist activity, received the highest number of votes in the recent primary election in Philadelphia, according to figures made public this week. Judge Lewis, who is endorsed by both Republicans and Democrats, received 286,675 votes, heading the list of all the judges up for election or reelection.
