The heads of the Greek Orthodox Church in Jugoslavia are preparing to issue an epistle to the members of the Church against the ritual murder agitation. It is understood that the message will declare that there is no foundation for the belief that the Jews may be accued of using Christian blood for ritual purposes. This measure was deemed necessary to pacify the still excited peasant population.
It was futher stated today that the Attorney General at Novi Sad has issued further summonses to many inhabitants of Petrovo Selo who are suspected of having caused the agitation with a view of bringing about anti-Jewish violence.
