Dr. Bukic Pijade, president of the Yugoslavian B’nai B’rith, newly elected president of the Sephardic Community of Belgrade, has been received in his capacity as the head of the community by the Regent Prince Paul.
In the course of the audience, the prince regent expressed his warm sympathy with the Jews and his appreciation of their services in cultural, scientific and artistic life.
