Julius Klein, the Jewish editor of the German paper “Staats-Herold” has been vanquished in the election for Congressman-at-large, the complete returns show.

Mr. Klein’s victory had previously been conceded. The state of Illinois will therefore have but one Jewish Congressman in the person of A. J. Sabath. The total number of Jewish Congressmen in the House of Representatives will be twelve.
