The membership campaign of the Junior Federation, auxiliary of the Brooklyn Federation of Jewish Charities, gets under way September 1, it was announced yesterday. Organized in 1929, the group has increased its active paying membership from 360 to more than 1,200. It is self-sustaining and is not dependent upon the senior group, to which it contributes approximately $15,000 a year for relief purposes.
