Supreme Court Justice Felix Frankfurter will not return to his judicial duties for the remainder of the Court’s present term, it was announced today. The 79-year-old jurist, still reportedly “improving” following a mild stroke early this month, is expected to be back with the opening of the Court’s new term in October. His decision not to come back to the bench before the fall was prompted by the advice of his physicians.
