Dr. Judah Nadich, rabbi of the Park Avenue Synagogue here, has been elected president of the National Jewish Welfare Board Jewish Book Council of America, it was announced at the Council’s 25th annual meeting today. He succeeds Hyman B. Bass. Dr. Nadich was previously a vice president. He is author of “Eisenhower and the Jews” and the editor and translator of “The Flowering of Modern Hebrew Literature” by Menachem Ribalow.
