Louis Klein, commander of the New York State Jewish War Veterans, denounced the “Stop the Draft Week” effort by which foes of the Vietnam War have been trying to shut down the Army Induction Center in lower Manhattan. He told a meeting of the state JWV executive committee that the JWV respected the individual’s right to dissent but that it condemned actions which would paralyze the authority of the President if they were successful.
