Kalvariski, Expert on Arabs, Gets Bid to Parleys

The Jewish Agency for Palestine has invited Chaim Kalvariski, former head of its Arab department, to attend the London conferences. Kalvariski, whose nomination as a delegate by the left Poale-Zion had been originally turned down, will leave for London next week.

The military authorities today suspended Arab commercial traffic between Jaffa, Jerusalem and Nablus until further notice, as a punitive measure for Arab sabotage of the railway line near Ramleh.
