Kassams hit Israel after Gaza operation
Palestinian terrorists fired more than 30 Kassam rockets at southern Israel following an Israeli army operation in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli troops killed six Hamas gunmen Wednesday after entering Gaza to blow up a tunnel constructed to help the terrorist organization kidnap soldiers. Three Israeli soldiers were wounded in the operation.
Israeli officials called the operation isolated, saying they remain committed to the cease-fire with Hamas that has been in effect since June.
Three Kassam rockets damaged greenhouses in the western Negev, and two fell in Ashkelon, one in a residential neighborhood.
