Although Dr. Ludwing Kastl, the German member of the Mandates Commission of the League of Nations, has resigned in order to be free for other duties in Germany, he is expected to take part in the March sitting of the Commission which will deal with the Palestine situation. His successor to the Mandates Commission will no doubt be a German.
