A number of Katyusha rockets were fired into western Galilee from north of the southern Lebanon security zone shortly before midnight Sunday They caused no casualties and only negligible damage.
Military sources in the north surmised that the rockets were been launched by the Islamic fundamentalist group Hezbollah in part to protest the firing of some 40 Tomahawk cruise missiles by the United States at Baghdad targets four hours earlier.
