Kentucky Court Revokes Ku Klux Klan Charter for “fomenting Hatred”

A state circuit court today revoked the corporation charter of the Ku Klux Klan and banned its operation in this state.

The order declaring the organization legally dead said that the Klan had been carrying on activities contrary to law by “fomenting racial or religious hatred and prejudice through terrorism and propaganda.”
