Almost 2,000,000 pounds of food has been sent to Israel in the past year by Service for Palestine, official gift food service to Israel formed by the American Keren Hayesod, Charles Ross, president, announced this week-end. He also stated that in addition to bringing this large quantify of vital food into the new state, the organization had used its frozen assets in European countries for the purchase of food.
