A voluntary “Nansen Assistance” organization has been established here to protect the rights of the estimated 2,000,000 “men without countries” throughout the world.
The organization was founded by Odd Nansen, son of Fritjof Nansen, in anticipation of the liquidation of the Nansen International Office for stateless refugees in Geneva by the League of Nations.
It will form branches in all European countries which will seek to continue to protect the rights of persons disenfranchised through post-war changes in boundaries and through other reasons.
