Alexei Adjubei, editor of Izvestia and son-in-law of Soviet Premier Khrushchev, denied here yesterday charges of anti-Semitism in the Soviet Union. He was in France as a guest of the France-USSR Association. He sought to refute such charges by pointing out, “for example,” that, during his visit to France, he had turned over editorial direction of one of the leading newspapers in the Soviet Union to a Jew.
