Kidnapped BBC reporter Alan Johnston appeared in a video wearing an explosives belt.
Johnston, who was abducted in the Gaza Strip more than three months ago by a group calling itself the Army of Islam, warns against attempts to rescue him.
“I’ve been dressed in what is an explosive belt, which the kidnappers say will be detonated if there’s any attempt to storm this area,” Johnston said on the video.
Hamas, which took control of the Gaza Strip by force nearly two weeks ago, says it does not know of Johnston’s whereabouts.
