Neville Laski, president of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, was appointed by King George as Recorder of Burnley, it was officially announced here yesterday.
While this appointment bestows upon Mr. Laski the highest judicial post of Burnley, he will continue his duties as President of the Board of Deputies in London. Mr. Laski is one of the outstanding lawyers in England.
