King Daudouin of Belgium received in audience at his Palace today a delegation of Jewish National Fund leaders currently attending the JNF European conference here. The delegation, which was as companied by Israel Ambassador Amiel Najar, was headed by Yaakov Tsur, JNF world chairman, and included: Professor Leblanc, president of the Belgian-Israel Friendship League; P.N. Ferstenberg, president of the Belgian JNF; Nesanel Kewkowicz, president of the Belgian Zionist Federation; and Zvi Atlas, director of the JNF office in Belgium.
During the audience, which lasted 55 minutes, Mr. Tsur presented to the King a parchment copy of the JNF decision to plant in Israel a King Saudouin Forest, as well as a copy of the first Hebrew Bible printed in Jerusalem with a newly designed type face. This morning, all participants in the conference were received at the Brussels Town Hall.
