King Hussein of Jordan, currently on an informal visit to Paris, told a press conference yesterday that “an honorable solution to the Palestine problem might be found” but he added, “I see no possible solution in the near future.”
He said the “basic solution” depended on “quite a reorganization” of the Arab world which would “lift the danger which Israel represents for us. ” During the visit, the Jordanian monarch met with President Charles de Gaulle who told the King that “France is on her side readily disposed for this close cooperation.”
