After the session, which lasted 15 minutes, Rabbi Danan told the Jewish Telegraphic Agency correspondent, with tears in his eyes, that he would never forget the welcome he received from the King, adding that “like his father, King Hassan loves us greatly.”
A Moroccan Jew today gave a lecture on Islam to an audience which included the Moroccan Minister of National Education and the rector of Rabat University. The lecturer was Maurice Arama, recently named director of the Casablanca Fine Arts School. Virtually all members of the audience were Moslems.
